"I'm going to send my idea into Vintage Affair."

Vintage Affair is a full colour bi-yearly (at this stage) A5 zine of 48 pages per issue
(4 for cover).

It’s Australia’s first ever publication specifically focussing on the world of vintage.

We would love to hear from you if you have an idea for a piece for Vintage Affair.

Some ideas may be a piece about a

•    vintage shop
•    vintage person
•    vintage object
•    vintage business
•    vintage icon
•    vintage clothing
•    vintage art
•    vintage performance
•    vintage space

or, you may like to write a piece about a particular era. These are just a little guide, as the vintage community is huge, so you may have some other great ideas you would like to share.

In the first instance could you please email the editor of Vintage Affair Belinda (Bea) Hogan with a short pitch of your idea at editor@vintageaffair.net

Once a submission has been accepted for publication Vintage Affair retains the first publication rights (online or print) of your work and you retain the copyright of your work.

You also agree that you will not have your work published in another publication online or in print for at least six months after the issue of Vintage Affair that showcases your work, has been in print.

Please keep submissions to around 500 words or less. Please include what you would like for the headline and byline.

Photos are to be at least 300dpi. If you could send them in CMYK that would be great. If not don’t worry. Please send images as jpeg’s or pdf’s. Photos should be taken by you or have permission to be reproduced.

We have a contributors page on the Vintage Affair website, so please also send through a bio and a photo of yourself.

At this stage we are unable to pay for contributions, but a free copy of Vintage Affair will be posted to you. You also of course will be credited for your work. The best thing……you get to be a part of a new and unique publication.
